PRP Treatment
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to Support Egg Maturation
For the Endometrium — New Hope for Fertility
In my practice for gynecology, obstetrics, gynecological endocrinology, and reproductive medicine, I offer you a modern and innovative treatment method: PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) — a regenerative therapy to support the endometrium (uterine lining) in cases of infertility.
What is PRP treatment suitable for?
PRP therapy can be effectively used in the following cases:
- Unexplained infertility
- Repeated implantation failure in IVF/ICSI
- Thin endometrium that does not build up sufficiently
- Chronic endometritis
What is PRP and how does it work?
PRP is obtained from your own blood. After special processing, the platelet-rich plasma is introduced directly into the uterus. The growth factors it contains promote regeneration and blood circulation of the uterine lining and thus improve the implantation conditions for an embryo — completely without foreign additives or hormones.
Procedure of the treatment:
- Blood draw at the clinic
- Processing of PRP using a specialized method
- Application of PRP directly into the uterine cavity (intrauterine)
- The treatment is low-pain and takes only a few minutes
Cost:
€250 per treatment
(Private service according to GOÄ — not covered by statutory health insurance)
Scientifically based — individually guided
PRP therapy is tailored individually in our clinic and closely aligned with your treatment plan — especially in the context of IVF/ICSI or known implantation disorders.
PRP Treatment of the Ovaries (Ovarian Rejuvenation)
PRP treatment of the ovaries is an innovative method of regenerative medicine aimed at improving ovarian function in women with reduced fertility or early menopause. The so-called platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is obtained from the patient's own blood and injected into the ovaries.
What is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?
PRP is a component of blood that contains a high concentration of platelets and growth factors. These growth factors have been shown to support tissue regeneration and stimulate cell function — in this case, in the ovaries.
Indications for PRP ovarian treatment
PRP ovarian treatment may be considered in the following cases:
- Women with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI)
- Women with diminished ovarian reserve
- Women with early menopause
- Women with infertility who produce no or few eggs
- Before or during fertility treatment to improve egg quality
Treatment procedure
- Blood draw: A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient.
- PRP preparation: The blood is centrifuged to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.
- Injection into the ovaries: The PRP is injected directly into the ovaries under sterile conditions and short anesthesia. The procedure is usually performed vaginally under ultrasound guidance.
- Observation: After the procedure, the patient may be briefly monitored and usually returns home the same day.
Treatment costs
The cost of PRP treatment for the ovaries is a flat rate of €1,800.
This price includes:
- Consultation and medical examination
- Blood draw and PRP preparation
- Procedure under short anesthesia
- Aftercare
Please note: PRP treatment is currently not covered by statutory health insurance and is billed as an individual health service (IGeL).
